Historical background

Le Faville vineyard has belonged to the Marchisio’s for a very long time. Luigi Elio gave to this

vineyard it’s final shape buying up the lands around the main producing area.

The quality of grapes was so high that people used the Italian expression “fare faville”

(meaning “to sparkle”) to describe them. That is why the vineyard took the name which is

the same used nowadays on Arneis bottles produced with grapes coming from that area.
